Information about my blog.
This is my first rolling tobacco review and probable one of very little of them as i don't really tend to smoke them.
Also to regular viewers the duty free cigs i promised a review on have all been wrote up and will be published in the coming weeks.
Overview.
Amber leaf is a brand new product brought out to extend the Amber leaf name not to long ago all the packs still have the new on the wrappers. Amber Leaf is one of the top selling rolling tobacco's in the UK. Produced by gallaher group of Japan tobacco. ( JTI ) One the pack it reads as though Richard lloyd & sons.
From the press release they say there a cigarette like Virginia blend.
There available in a 12.5g crush proof box ( what i have ) and a 25g pouch.
Here in the uk more and more smokers are taking up rolling there own to save money as cigarettes are now going onto £7/8 a pack.
Price
At the moment they are price marked packs so its £3.74 for the box and £7.31 for the 25g. Not bad at all when they both come with 50 rolling papers , much cheaper than cigarettes when you look at how many you can get out of a pack.
The packs once the price marks have all gone will go to a RRP of £3.87 for the box and £7.57 for 25g.
- The crush box contains 12.5g of tobacco.
- Filters are not included although papers are if you want to smoke them with filters you will have to buy them separate.
Packaging.
I don't like the normal amber leaf pack , but this is a nice pack , looks like some work has gone into it all goes together well. The Amber Leaf logo on the white back ground goes together well. Its not the best there has ever been , but its not bad at all.
7/10
The cig.
First thing we see from the pack when you look at it i its a mellow cut and a smooth taste so we will see if that is the case. On the little tobacco pouch inside it reads ( it goes on forever ill cut it down to the important points ) they say it has a paler colour to normal Amber leaf its cut into longer strands for easier rolling ( helps to some extent not much difference ) from the worlds premium tobacco fields then its says we can expect a easy roll and mellow smooth flavour. Plus loads more crap on the back so lets get lit up.
first drag it is smooth so we can tick that one off its also very mellow so we can tick that off but to me it seems a little to mellow very easy to smoke no harshness to them ( harsh without a filter though ) Very sweet flavour , a few have said there is not much difference between the normal Amber leaf , its nice to have a pure tobacco and no FSC good a nicotine rush from them.
- A little to mellow
- Nice flavour
- Very smooth smoke
- Good rush off them.
7/10

Quick google search reveals this for me the brand is named after Sir Gerald du Maurier a British actor and manager. Produced by Imperial Tobacco Canada. Became quite well known for there sponsorship of the Canadian women's open until 1999.
Packaging
Very nice packaging i like it the red looks great .
8/10

Very light tobacco one of the lightest i have seen the logos are on the filter says du M ( short for the full name of the brand) and has a red band. Smelling the Tobacco its not a very nice smell lets get it lit up, first drag it has a strong flavour feel a bit of a kick in the back of you throat as it goes down. Quite a strong cigarette , getting a great nicotine rush of it great burn time very slow describing a flavour is a bit hard for me , but i can tell you its not to bad very smooth flavour
- A little harsh
- Smooth flavour
- Good burn time
- Good nicotine rush
- According to what i have read there expensive
Not to bad good smoke but not the best i have had.

Davidoff ID touch Orange ( UK )
Overview.
First off massive thank's to RJ for sending me these in a pack swap as there not available where i am and if you haven't already, please check out his great YouTube channel.
Firs off as i said these aren't available in the north or England only in places in the south on a trial base ( i will put some links at the end of the review , more reading on the launch ect.. ) Davidoff are a quality name they also produce cigars and pipe tobacco, by name alone i expect quality. They are a well established brand. The ID range has had a lot put into its launch around Europe, the pack is actually designed by up and coming artists , i don't know to much about Davidoff and this is my first ever cigarette from them. The after shave is actually a division of the cigarette company so from what i have read the aftershave is in a way the same company.
Price
Davidoff usually have a high price and these follow suit and are around the £7 to £ 8 mark.
Pack
The pack is amazing as you will see in the pictures , has a great quality look to it. One of the best packs to have come out in recent times. Even with the warnings they have done a great job to still make it look amazing. Carry s a lot of information on the pack but still looks great and all the designs go together. This is a glide tec pack ( same as the new Lambert & Butler ) this means there is a squar and you push it up and it opens a compartment and slides the compartment that holds the cigarettes. It very good and flashy but the pack becomes a lot bigger and dosent fit in your pocket as good and overhaul for that reason it can be a bit of a pain the the backside. But its still a great pack.
9/10
The cig
The great design even extends to the cig itself. The filter dosent usually house a design this does it says ID all over it it looks nice we then have two bands and it says Davidoff ID the designings on the cig looks great. Looks very well made no lose tobacco, papers got a OK roll on it. Dark coloured tobacco . Smells a bit like coco , dry drag sweet flavour to it. lets get lit up. First drag, very smooth flavour really easy going down every even burn from the start. Great flavour for a 10 tar 0.8 nic and 10 carbon m im surprised at how smooth it is to smoke. Real full body to it , half way down getting a nice nicotine hit ive already had a few of these and to me this is a perfect cigarette nice burn time smooth smoke good nicotine hit. Its hard for me to describe flavours as some times its better to try them for yourself but its really good, different to other cigs it does stand out , but in a good way. Toward the end it does become a little harsher but is still a smooth smoke. Flavour stays consistent.Worth getting if you can get them where they are stocked.
Good points
-Great flavour stays consistent different from other brand available , its very unique and is great.
- Good burn time and every a even burn.
-Amazing pack design and cig design.
- Great nicotine hit.
Bad points.
-It has contact paper before the filter ( personal as i don't like it )
- The biggest problem for it only available in the south of England if anyone from Davidoff reads it please bring them out across the uk.
10/10- Really worth getting and trying they really are amazing.

Export A Review ( Canada )
Overview.
First off a massive thanks to RJ for sending me these in a pack swap without him this review wouldn't be possible. Great guy and great videos , so guys if you haven't already please check out his YouTube channel .
All i can tell you about theses is what i found on the internet , with them being from Canada i don't know to much about them, the brand is called Export , the a comes as part of the range from what i can gather from what i am reading about them. Produced by JTI Macdonald on Wikipedia it says there available around the world , i can tell you being from England i have never seen them before. The recognized products are the Export a line , there is a Export plain available ( Unfiltered ) aswell as a rolling tobacco. I think they are quit populour in Canada , but im not sure. On the pack it says they have been made since 1928.
Packaging.
( Pictures of packaging will be at the bottom of this review. )
Ignoring the HUGE warning that Canada has to have in both French and English , its in a green pack unusual for a non menthol cigarette. But the green works very well and goes nice with the white x and the writing and the women all go together to produce a nice pack , a little plain and basic though.
-8/10- Would be miles better if it was not for the warning's bit plain and basic but overhaul a very nice well thought out pack that goes together.
The cig
First off the content is much higher than anything available in the E.U as Canada and America ect.. don't have limits.
The first thing you will notice is the small filter , it will shock nearly everyone , but this is actually how filters were when they were first introduced they were only small. This dosent effect its size , its a king size cigarette . As i said small filter , very light in colour green band where the filter meets the paper says Export 'A' in green and 2 more green bands. It has contact paper just before the filter i hate contact paper . Dry drag smooth flavour nice a sweet , smell before lighting it up , very sweet smell , but not that heavy.Light colour tobacco.
Lets get it lit up.
Good flavour from the first drag, not to harsh to me it goes down very smooth. Nice even burn from the start , i love the flavour its sweet , getting a good nicotine rush off of it. Burning nice a slow , still even. I'm picking up a smoky flavour to it ( i know it sounds stupid ) its quite unique to anything i have had before. Its giving off quite the nicotine rush as i haven't had stronger than a E.U cig in a while. Its a enjoyable cigarette, the flavour stays consistent.
8 out of 10
- Good flavour nice even burn not to bad a burn time great nicotine rush enjoyed it.
- Pack pictures - Canadian packs have large warning one side in English the other in French.

Embassy Number 1 ( UK )
Overview
- This is a request from the amazing ryan.
First off sorry for the delays been really busy of late, so embassy quite a big brand in the UK , nearly everyone has tried or been on embassy at some point, when the were relaunch in the 60s more money was spent on it than any other cigarette before it. They used to run coupons where you could collect them and buy things. Originally made by Wills , embassy used to have a lot of cigarettes out number 7 premium embassy extra mild and even a menthol. Today only the filter and these remain. Embassy was the sole sponser of the world snooker but had to give it up when the advertising ban came in the sponserd it for i think around 30 years.
Price
Cost a lot these days , but you get what you pay for, same price as Regal at around £7.80.
Packaging
They have had a update they used to be the same font as Regal but now its been updated it still has that classic look , but its not for me the old pack will always be better. A lot of people say they look the same Regal the reason for this is Embassy make them Regal used to be called Embassy Regal.
-8/10
The cig.
Big filter just like Regal , same colour just says Embassy number 1 lets get it lit up , first drag , very smooth flavour great taste not as harsh as Regal , very smokable from just the first few drags, burning quite evenly , like Regal there burn time compared with most brands is quite shocking to say the least. There flavour has changed quite a bit hard to tell you what it tastes like , but it is nice. i type this as i smoke not a lot has been added and im past half way ( burn time for you.) its easily one of the better tasting cigs out there., very sweet. Even towards the end they stay a very smooth smoke. Decent nicotine rush from them. Worth every penny. i still prefer Regal to these as there my every day smoke.
- Good smoke , good flavour , even burn , good nicotine rush
- Awful burn time.
8.5/10
i prefer Regal but a great smoke non the less. Worth getting if you have never tryed them you wont be disaponted , every one should try Regal and Embassy some of the iconic brands of the UK.
old pack ( No longer available anywhere just added to show the difference , might still be same on duty free from abroad .)
New modern design ( Only packaging available in the UK pic in link . )

Secondly to RJ massive thank you for not only sending them but for his continued support so thanks to RJ if it wasn't for you i would never of got to try so many different tobacco products
please check out his channel - http://www.youtube.com/user/rjthesmoker
The only thing i can add about these is they have a charcoal filter which is quite rare the only other brand i know of is Mild Seven ( who sponserd Renault and Benatton in f1 ) . I think it helps make the lighter im not sure.
The packaging.
Very similar to Regal here in the uk very close to the same design i like it -8/10
Being from Canada they have large health warnings and one side is English the other i believe French.
The cig
White filter Belmont in blue gold and blue stripe below it , the charcoal filter gives off a black look in the filter. dry drag gives a light sweet flavour off , lets get it lit up. First drag you get a very smooth flavour very smokeable , not harsh at all , sort of rolls down your throat . not harsh at all quite a light flavour not much of a kick to them. Half way through you start to get a light nicotine rush , the flavour is very nice . Seems a good tobacco. The flavour is remaining very smooth. Becomes a little harsher getting towards the end , remains a nice even burn. Has a great burn time. Nice enjoyable cigarette.
9 out of 10.
- Nice flavour , good burn time nice nicotine rush good tobacco used
- A little light to start off with.
- This is my first ever charcole filter i have to say it was quite a good.

Cohiba Mini ( UK )
Massive thank you for sending them me to http://www.youtube.com/user/rjthesmoker?feature=results_main
Overview
First off a massive thanks to rj for them so please check out his channel great guy with great video's.
First off Cohiba are a massive name in cigars producing lots of different types of cigars and are a quality name. Martell currently have a cognac that is branded under the Cohiba name , i think it has been made with Cohiba to have a good drink with your cigars. The tax stamp indicates it has come from Cuba. I cant add to much as Cigars aren't my best known about subject.
Packaging
Nice box , very well presented nice design colour and fonts go well together , all very nice looks quality
9/10
The cigar
Paper is very light in colour , rolled very well for a small cigar , dark tobacco colour , just by looking at it , it has a quality look to it. Sweet smell ( smelling from the pack , smelling from just the cigar not much smell ) it kind of smells like tea nice smell. Having a dry drag , sweet again , taste similar to the smell ( sound's mental but it does. ) The cigar is quite soft , so lets get it lit up. Not as harsh as the cafe creme i did , much smoother flavour has a classic cigar taste to it , finding it hard to describe a flavour , but it is nice very pleasant smoke, nice slow burn. Just before halfway it went out. Were not meant to but i will inhale it to see what flavour and experience we get, strong flavour better to inhale than the cafe creme but don't as its not what you do. The cigars are great if you are a cigar smoker and are going to a pub where you cant smoke , good size and a pleasant smoke for the size, the flavour is coming through more its quite rich, it has burned even and slow throughout, it becomes a lot harsher to the end but is still a very nice little cigar. it become's very soft nearer to the end. I felt very relaxed after this smoke.

Sabor Geracoes ( G E ) filtro cigarette review,
Overview
upcoming review 2 cigar reviews and more from another pack swap with RJ
Another big thank you to rj for sending these to me in a pack swap. -http://www.youtube.com/user/rjthesmoker
Don't know to much about these there either from France or Portugal i think France but on the side the people who make them have something about Portugal , anyway these are a very small cig much like Embassy filter and Regal filter only a very small paper and tobacco section. Id say there 4 to 5 less drags than a king size.
Packaging
It comes in a soft pack i like soft packs except when you have them in your pocket the can get a bit squashed and your cigs can get crushed . The lettering and the colouring all goes well but it is a very plain pack really.
-5.5/10
The cig
If you have never had a Regal or Embassy filter you will really be surprised by who small they really are ( similar size to them ) The filter dosent look like any i have seen before has a sort of patten . Very dark in colour with a few light bits ( Tan colouring ) Just says sg in black on the body. Darkish tobacco colour . Smelling them from the pack it has a nice smell. Dry drag smooth and sweet , first drag after lighting up , very unusual taste , quite toasted not the same as lucky strike this is all together unique. Nice even burn. Not the best taste but it is nice but there is deffantley better out there . Good nicotine hit for the size of the cig , slowish burn time. Not to harsh quite smooth to smoke. A little stronger towards the end.
7/10
- Great nicotine hit.
- Nice burn time for the size of the cig.
- Quite a strange taste
- These are good cig for going out somewhere where you cant smoke so if you are standing out in the rain you aren't there for long.
upcoming review 2 cigar reviews and more from another pack swap with RJ

Kool Filter king size menthol ( France )
Kool menthol review from France.
Overview
To start with i would like to send a massive thank you out to rj for sending me these in a pack swap , great guy and if you haven't already please check out his YouTube channel .
-http://www.youtube.com/user/rjthesmoker - please if you havent check out his channel.
Kool are quite a widely smoked menthol cigarette from what i have heard in the USA, in america Rj reynolds make them but in the E.U there made by British American tobacco , first produced in the early 30s originally like most old brand only available unfiltered filters were added when they became more popular in the 60s . Nat King Cole the singer actually smoked kool's he chain smoked them and could go through 3 packs a day or more . A penguin was there mascot at the start. Not the biggest menthol smoker but for some reason i have always like to try them and Kool is the one i have always wanted to try , but there not available in the UK.
Packaging .
Has a good look to it , easy to tell its menthol and it does stand out , lettering stands out and is arranged well overhaul nice pack .
-7/10
The cig.
Inside the cig
90.5 % tobacco paper 6.5 % texture 3.0 % - that's my own translation so i think that's what it is.
10mg tar 0.8 mg nicotine 10 mg carbon monoxide that's quite high for a menthol there usually around 8mg
Paper is held down nice , dark coloured tobacco says Kool like it does on the pack in green. Dry drag light taste nice flavour , lighting it up and first drag ,menthol hits you straight away not a overpowering menthol taste that's a let down for a lot of menthol cigs but not for these. Few drags in burning nice and even. Burn time is a little fast. Not as good as the St.moritz but there expensive but there up there nice menthol flavour , good nicotine hit , the taste stays through out. The mint flavour is good in the mouth
- Nice nicotine hit
- Good menthol not overpowering
- But a fast burn time

Chesterfield Red Super kings ( UK )
Overview
Chesterfield were quite a big brand in america at one point , but recently they have lost sales, here in the UK they have released them as a budget brand . I have had the king size and they are really good for the price , but sometimes Super kings can be a bit different . A lot of people have said over the years they have gone bad but from the king size i had i loved them they are a great smoke for the price.
-From the front of the pack we learn that chesterfield were first made in 1896.
Price
£5.75 there really cheap. The king size some in 20s but the super kings 19 . i don't know if both do it now or just the super kings. A few company's do this as it is a easy way to avoid tax to keep the cigs cheap as you don't pay tax for 20
Packaging
I prefer the old pack design that the US had but the one in the UK they have done a good job of making it look modern . The pack is the same as the king siz but it says at the top left corner super then a line and under it kings. The sides of the pack are also quite well designed aswell.
8/10
The cig.
Long filter quite a light tan colour on the filter. The dry drag gives of a sweet flavour . on the cig it just says chesterfield in the same font as on the pack. Smelling them in the pack its a pleasant smell , nice and sweet , so lets light it up. First drag nice and smooth , after a few drags its burning nice and even. Seem quite light to start with. Burning quit slowly aswell. The flavour is nice fairly sweet not quite the same as the king size. Very similar. They are both a great cig for the price you pay i have paid more for a lot worse. For a budget brand they are a great taste. Good nicotine hit , just looked on the internet while having it and they have just brought the superkings out great addition to the range
- Nice nicotine hit
- Good flavour
- Great for the price
-9/10
A little reading on them

Camel essential flavour ( France )
Overview
First off i would like to thank rj for sending these and the other packs , so thanks rj for allowing me to try all the different tobacco products i might of otherwise not been able to.
Please if you have not checked out his YouTube channel please do it is quality work from a great guy.
From what i can gather this is part of a camel range as when i was in Greece they had this pack and one in black exact same pack different colours , so possibly part of the same range. I have that pack so i will review that soon, i know i keep saying there are reviews coming soon , but i have been really busy and i wanted to cover some basic uk brands before doing brands from other country's- so they will be coming up very soon.
Camel have always been a great brand , one of my Favorite they just have a quality feel to them and usally very good smokes , they have started to bring a lot of different blends out.
- The picture is just one i found on the internet through Google , they will be like that until i sort my camera out.
Packaging
Same as the camel blacks , but yellowish sort of a dusty colour , reading at the top essential flavours the only indication that its a camel cigarette is the cut out camel on the front , that looks really good on both these and the black pack.on the back Camel essential flavours and the camel below it. just your usal camel stuff it is a great pack , looks good has a very clean look to it , looks like a good smoke from the outside alone.
9/10 - really like it , one of the better designed packs out there.
- there from France so heres what's in them , not sure if i have put it in and changed it right but its a guide.
tobacco 8,0%
cigarette paper 8,0%
agents textures 3,0%
Price
Rj said they are a mid range price brand in France if i remember. Cant get them in the uk , in France , and 100% as i got the blacks witch are part of the range and saw them in Greece and Spain
The cig
Has a nice look to it . light sweet smell to them , a dry drag it tastes good.On the cig it has a camel in a gold colour.very nice taste on the first drag , leaves a good taste in the mouth. not harsh at all , very smooth and pleasant to smoke . Good burn time very slow burn. Good nicotine rush . The flavour is really good. Half way through its a great product to add to the camel name. The flavour is sweetish taste. towards the end the flavour stays it is a brilliant smoke
- Great taste good nicotine rush great addiction to the range good burn time , very enjoyable
- Couldn't really find a down side to them.
9.5/10
Please check out rj's channel in the link above , great guy , great videos.

Thunder extra stark snus - berry 16mg
The snus
Quite a large porchen dark in colour , has a light berry taste , good flavour not overwelming , quite pleasant, quite a sweet flavour. Nicotine delivery takes a while , nice steady and slow it , nice hit , as with all snus very pratical , especially where smoking is not permited ( more and more places theses days ) . The flavour grows a little stronger the longer it is in. Not to long in its delivering a nice hit. I dont know if it is how i stored it , but there isnt to much of a berry flavour its only very light , but its a good flavour .
-Not the strongest flavour going. but i enjoyed them.
- Not the biggest nicotine rush ,but they were still good
-7.5/10

Thunder Raw Extra strong 22 mg ( Sweden )
Overview.
don't now to much about snus ,so not much to add . Massive thanks again to rj.
- IF you haven't already please check out RJ's you tube great guy , great videos . Made the snus reviews possible . I really cant thank him enough for the snus.
the snus.
Seems to have a minty smell to it . To me when i first put it in , it is quite a pre-eminent flavour. Its a pleasant flavour , it is a fairly stong flavour . Delivers a fair hit quite early on at 22 mg it will be the highest toabacco most pepole will have had , with the limits in E.U . A fantastic hit , especially if at work if they dont allow you to smoke there. The flavour stays good thought , quite a sweet flavour . If you want a good nicotine hit then i cant recommend them enough . About 5 minutes im feeling one of the biggest nicotine rushes i have ever had .You can tell this is a quality product ( well made ect.. ) . The pouch looks quite big compared to the Offroad , Very dark in colour , sort of a black/brown . As i said in the Offroad im not the biggist snus user these are in fact my first ever snus's , so again a massive thank you to rj for this chance to try and review them.
- great nicotine hit ( best i have ever had . )
- Good flavour quality made product
- usually i would add the downfalls , but up to now i cant find any
Worth a try quality and fantastic nicotine hit
10/10
- Sorry lately for the lack of quality and pictures i cant find my lead for it i will shortly sort that out and my hours at work , have been changed so im working longer , i can add them on brakes ect though . Thanks and keep checking back more snus to come and more cigarettes.
- if you want me to do a review please message me on my youtube - http://www.youtube.com/user/jimmyg34567?feature=mhee

Offroad original -16mg
Offroad Original 16 mg snus - Sweden
Overview .
I got some snus in a pack swap with rj , thank you so much to rj for giving me the oputunity to try these , if you haven't already check out his channel on YouTube , great guy , great videos . I have never tried snus so ,this was a great chance for me.
Thanks again rj -
The snus .
First of all this is a little strange to me , i have never tried anything like it , all the tobacco products i have , have always involved smoking them , they take a little getting used to at first , quite strong . The method of using them its a little hard at first , but you get used to it. The taste differes massively from cigs , anyway the Offroad original to me has a slight taste of liquorish to it , delivers a very light nicotine hit , there quite relaxing to have , great for where smoking is not permitted ( nearly everywhere in the UK ) , very practical , im sorry this is not very in depth as i don't know to much about snus and im not by any means a expert , so i can only give my rating as a first time tryer of snus.
- Good flavour , not to overpowering - nice light nicotine hit. i think you if you can get it try snus its quite good and practical.
- Very nice hint of liqorice taste to it.
-7.5/10 - this is my opinion as i don't know to much , i found the flavour nice , good nicotine , be nice if it was a little stronger. i still prefere smoking but a nice to try ive been enjoying them.
- More reviews of snus to come up in the following days/weeks. Thanks to rj for them please if you haven't , check out his channel you wont be let down.
- Again sorry for any spelling ect... mistakes as i have had to rush today's reviews

Marlboro red review ( UK )
Marlboro red - UK
Next reviews - Some snus sent in a pack swap with rj - Massive thanks to him for it -http://www.youtube.com/user/rjthesmoker?feature=results_main
Snus review will be later today ( 10/09/2012 )
- Then a small tribute to Camel filters with a review , as they are being discontinued in the UK. - ( Next few days.)
Overview - Marlboro are easyiley the most known cigarette brand there is ,ask anyone if they smoke or not and they will know Marlboro. This is thanks to the sponsorship of most things back in the day when it was allowed , there biggest being the sponsorship of Ferrari in f1 , it continues to this day only now they cant actually show it on the cars. Marlboro sponserd many events , aswell as there well known Welcome to Marlboro country ads . But most famously the cow boys , giving them the name cowboy killers after a few of the models for the advert died of smoking related illnesses. There advertising ensured that they are remembered, they are the most sold cigarette brand in the world , they also have many variates , but sadly most are not available in the UK. I had to do a review on these at some point as they are so iconic all around the world.
- i have lost my lead to my camera so until i have found it or got a replacement , there wont be any pictures of the packaging ect..
Packaging
Its very simple , but for me it works , it does remind me of the world far gone , where it was hard not to see it at a sporting event. It would look better without the warnings . Marlboro is presented in black , its a nice shade of red , would be better to see what im talking about if i could put the pictures up , but you all know what it looks , like and that's the beauty of what they achieved with this brand from a failing brand to the best selling , the pack sticks in your mind.
-8 out of 10 - in fairness it could do with a little bit of a jazz up , its starting to look old now with all the modern packs , but i fear if this is done , it would ruined the look of Marlboro
Price
As explained before its a old brand so its been through more taxing , resulting in them being quite expensive now. depending on the shop around £7.30.
The cig.
From my experience i have found they have always been a well made cig. Paper is well held , tobacco is packed nice it still is .
The filter looks quite large , light looking , just says Marlboro in black same style as on the box. They have a nice sweet smell in the pack .Having a dry drag they taste wonderful. burn nice and easy from the start , you get a good nicotine kick straight from the first few drags. Quite a sweet flavour , some pepole find reds harsh i don't in fact i think they are quite a smooth smoke for nearly for strength ( limited in the E.U) Easy to take a drag , some cigs are harder to drag on. Good burn time . Half way through they still burn nice and even. I got a little bit of throat burn the farer down i got. Nice flavour all the way down. As with most there's a difference since FSC came in, towards the end you get a better kick than nearly all cigs.
- Great nicotine hit from them. good burn time , nice and even , worth the money .
- Not that much wrong with them , the price is the only thing that comes to mind , but there worth it.
-9/10
- Sorry for any grammar or spelling mistakes was done in a bit of a rush.

Camel Filters
A full review will be up in a few days , as i found some old stock. As you may know if you are from the uk , they are sadly from what i have heard being discontinued , so i will post a review of what may be a long goodbye from them. Sad i always liked them shame there sales have gone down , i will add more in the review about there decline as well as some history . Also later a review of the Greek soft pack Camel filters , so if you can pop back later and join me for a very sad goodbye to Camel filters from the UK market.
- Production from what i believe stoped on the filter sometime in June only older stock of them left.

Regal King Size ( UK )
Overview. ( next review Marlboro Reds )
These are my preferd choice of cigarettes , i usually smoke them day in day out. I have done for some time now.Regal are the sister brand to the iconic Embassy , there both made my Imperial Tobacco , but all of Embassys products were formally made by w.h.o wills ( The makers of Woodbine ). Embassy used to have many different verity available such as extra mild , premium , golds . So Regal are one of the last to stay. They don't sell well down in the south of England as they do the north Embassy sells better in the south of England ,so its a country divide between the two . Scotland is there biggiest market , possibly due to the Regal Scottish master snooker tornement sponsorship. If you are in the south of England be warned i believe there VERY hard to find.
Price
This is how long ive smoked them for , they were around £5.10 then up and up then we were at £7 and now , imperial tobacco has just put the prices up on most of there brands resulting in Regal becoming £ 7.80 , this is dangerous stuff from Imperial , as not only do they risk losing custermers of there product like me and ive seen quite a few packs of these in people hands around the north of England, but there nearly running into the premium price band.
Packaging
A white creamy background , with a blue strip that has a few different textures in it . With gold text and the Regal bit has a blue background. All the text on the pack is in blue and gold and the stripe goes around the box , in a almost zig zag notion , this was more visible before the warnings . It has not changed much over the years , its a bit basic , but it still looks good , there's something some what simple about it , i like it but it is plain. - 7-10 - others don't like it but i do.
The cig
Plain just say Regal King Size , they have quite a large filter compared to other cigs , it has a much better flavour compared to Embassy , they have a bit of a stronger flavour . It really is a great taste . They burn every quick . I get a slight sweet taste to them , a few pepole i know say they taste strong , but i dont think they do they , not as smooth as Embassy but overhual i think there much better , not much i can say on them as i smoke them a lot and dont notice as much .
Worth getting very good cig - burn time really let them down - 9 out of 10 - If your in the south there worth the find , very good , but unless your a fool like me you wont smoke them everyday with the price - although they can very easy be an everyday smoke as they are for me .
I ran out while out so i got two 10 packs , i have some duty free ones so when i get round to it i will compare them.

Winston Blue ( duty free )
Had to lend a cig of off someone today , it was a Winston blue ( i think there the lights ) . I believe they were duty free from Egypt . They had a very slow burn time , nice smoke , very easy to smoke , good flavour , would give it a rating but i usually have 2 or 3 before giving them a final rating , but they were enjoyable and were a actually good , i have had the reds before and they were very good for the price. So with only 2 the impression was they were very good .
- The Regal review i told you about will be up tomorrow ( 31st august 2012 ) or Sunday ( 1st September )

Benson & Hedges Dual ( UK )
Overview ( Next review my regular brand Regal King Size )
Benson & Hedges are one of the iconic brands of England and sell well through the world , at one point the carried the royal seal as they were the chosen cigarette of the royal family , but the days of being one of the bigger selling brand in the UK is fading away as the price goes up , they were known for the extravagant adverts , they were also at one the sole-makers of silk cut , they also sponserd several horse racing events as well as snooker , but most famous for the sponsorship of cricket matches . These click and roll are quite new on the market in the uk, it seems like something that is impossible to do change the flavour of your cigarette halfway through .
Price
£6.82 from Asda not bad price for the UK around mid priced.
Packaging
It is a great pack , looks like they have really tried to make a modern B&H pack , its nice the colours go really well together , the effort really shows , they have also incorporated the capsule to full use on the pack as well , its one of the better modern packs out there, it slides like the Silver slide they make ( if you want them you have to ask for silver slide otherwise its in a normal pack ) but all the Dual ones are on the slid pack , this adds to the modern look , it all works really well. - Could be to flashy for some people , but hay , its just a pack its looks good , but its what's on the inside that counts. 8.5/10
The cig
Clear white filter , blue ball indicating where to click when you want to change the taste just says B&H dual nice cig design even looks like some effort has been made here aswell 8 mg of tar 0.6 mg of nicotine and 10mg of carbon monoxide so quite a light cig that's common with these click things , don't think there are any full strength it has a persporated filter so that takes any kick it might have away , it has quite a good traditional B&H flavour , usually before clicking when its a normal cig flavour is pretty bad but this is not bad at all it has quite a good flavour a little to light i like a nice light cig now and again , it is dosent deliver to much of a kick , normal taste quite good but a little light , so lets click it , it has a FANTASTIC flavour , very much like polos , the flavour is much better than before the click and the real enjoyment with this cig is when you click it usually its a menthol taste with the click but they have gone with this its has worked great - Good Bensen & Hedges quality great taste worth a try just for the flavour it really is good , much better than the pall mall ones so i would pay that bit extra just for the extra quality you do get. has a nice even burn - a little one the light side though - 7/10 for the cig as normal - 8/10 for the flavour its wonderful worth trying just for the flavour .

St Moritz Menthol ( UK )
Overview
This time there isnt much to say about these as i have never heard of them or no idea they even existed, i do belive that they are imported from whereever they are made ( theres a place called St Moritz so i would imagine there. ) Produced by British American Tobacco , but made under the authority of Turmac tobacco company , i would think there the original producers / owners , this is all from the pack i have looked on the internet for more but couldn't find anything on them , so this from what i can tell must be quite a rare cigarette to find . Im not the biggest menthol smoker out there but i do like them from time to time , and know quite a lot of people who smoke them. i wanted to try them as i haven't seen or heard of them before.
Price
These are the most expensive cigarettes i have ever bought , the same price as Dunhill ( never tried them ) they are close to verging on £8
Packaging
It has wonderful packaging , very classy well you probable are classy if you can buy these to smoke every day. Although it is very nice , and is presented well , for the money you pay , the packaging i find there to be something lacking really . - Not bad at all looks very nice well designed . 2 things that also lead me to belive they are imported is , inside its separated into 10s , i have only come across one actual English brand that does this and also , there isn't a picture on the back its just a written warning. - 7 or 8 out of 10 - Nice and classy but something lacking . Its also a very large pack , it is VERY impractical to carry round with you its large and bulky .
The cig .
I am quite sure there bigger that superkings ( 100s ) , not by much but i don't have any lying around to compare them to. Very fancy looking has a gold band on it ( a actual band sort of like what's used on cards , and Christmas crackers ) Has St Moritz in green on the body of the cig, and a small crown above that . It is the best designed cig i have ever seen it does look really nice , a lot of thought has been put into the design on the cig unlike most brands. Even when you have a drag before lighting you get a nice menthol taste . At 10mg of tar 1.0mg of nicotine and 10mg of carbon monoxide its the strongest we can get in the E.U . it delivers a fair hit , not to strong or harsh considering it the strongest available, most menthol cigs have a very overpowering taste to them , but they have managed to find the right balance with it its not overpowering it really is a great menthol taste , burn times is good and they burn down nice and even. It is a a very light menthol taste though . overhaul it is a very good menthol cig . The menthol become a lot stronger as you get towards the end . - If you want to try a menthol i would go with the cheaper brands like Ritchmond first , just to see if you like them, the price is very off putting though , but they are worth trying though , great flavour good hit . -9/10

Lambert & Butler Profile ( UK )
Lambert & Butler Profile. ( Next review St Mortitz Menthol )
Overview
Lambert & Butler are the uks number 1 selling cigarette , they made more money than coke in the uk , in the latest look into it , they are produced by imperial tobacco , and have been around if my memory is correct since the mid/late 70s. They ran adverts just before the ban of a posh guy called Lambert and the adverts would be him interacting with his Butler , i have always liked Lamberts i think there a good smoke for the price . Profile are a new type of cigarette in the UK , they are a form of compact cigarette , which means due to their size , they are taxed less.
Price
Price is on the front of the pack , they are £6.50 a good price for a mid range priced cig, the normal Lamberts are now verging on £7 they are suffering from the fact they have been going a while so they have been through more tax rises , but these are a good price for a cigarette in the UK. I don't know if the price is promotional as they are quite new on the market ( Price for 20 )
Packaging
Its quite nice , all Lambert & Butler packs are reverting back to how they was i have noticed lately they aren't shiny any more ( it has a proper name but i cant remember it. ) its a nice shade of silver , the blue on the logo and where it says profile looks nice, to goes nice with the background silver. . You can see the size difference , i will put a few pictures up to this , where ill compare the size to my usual brand Regal.
- Nice looking all goes together well - But its not the best there has ever been
7.5-10
- On the back it says " The same quality Lambert & Butler in a convenient compact format. " I will review this as well how practical it is in the size it is , and put it towards the final rating of the cigarette.
The cig. ( 10mg Tar 0.8 mg Nicotine 10mg Carbon Monoxide )
They are VERY thin , and look quite long , light coloured tobacco , round about the same size as a king size , but thinner and a little smaller , the pack is very practical as it is easier in youre pocket it isnt as bulky as most king size packs , i must admit as someone who likes Lambert & Butler its a very good concept by Imperial Tobacco .
Just says L&B similar to like it is on the side of the pack. Taste is more or less if not the same as normal Lamberts , quite nice taste , not the best but by no means the worst . Burn lets them down a lot , but with smoking bans , they would be good to take to the pub as you wont be outside for a long time. Gives off a quite good hit , it has contact paper at the bottom of the cig which i hate. More flavour as you get through it , a bit of a slower burn than the silver L&B , a very slight chemical taste to Lamberts before the FSC.
- A very nice cig for the price , defentley worth a try , the same as the standard L&B , nice taste not the worst there is , for the price there worth trying just for the Profile concept leaves a pleasant after taste.
- Burn time is the major let down with L&B. can see why the became the UKs number 1 , good smoke for the price. ( Note - it is the standard L&B that's number 1, but there the same these are just smaller )
8/10- Not to everyones taste as every one enjoys different cigs but these are worth a try great mid range priced cigarette.
Compared with a standard 20 pack of king size. ( Regal- will review them at a later date )
- Pack without price on.

Plain Packaging
Bad news from Australia , plain packaging will happen , the tobacco company's ( BAT , Phillip morris ect...)
have lost their court battle , to protect their brand and logos , sadly it will likely happen in the UK as well , i am 100 % against this , i hate it , but that's for another day that rant , maybe when the UK says what were going to be doing on the subject or nearer to that time

Cafe Creme Grande ( UK )
Overview .
( Next review Lambert & Butler Profile don't know when yet as well and a unusual and rare Menthol cig )
Cafe Creme is the worlds number 1 every day Cigar smoke , as we know it simply isn't practical to smoke proper cigars at £70 or around there every day . Cafe Creme are effectively cheap mini cigars , but the ones here are bigger , and closer to a larger cigars size. I have had a few of the these but have had these ones just in the tin for a while now so i though that i would review it as i couldn't find any for this type of Cafe Creme , the mini one where you get 20 if im correct are the bigger selling ones .
Price
A the time they were around £5 i really cant remember ive had them a while, not bad value considering you get 5 good sized cigars.
Packaging
I love the pack , its a tin , you can use it for something else after , and the Cafe Creme logo is great , and the cigar burning on the front adds to it , its a lovely design 9.5/10- its a little bulky , but keeps the cigars in good condition.
The cigar
Very light colour , well put together ( rolled ) . not to much of a smell , very light smell , but good on the nose all the leaves are well packed non falling out ect... having a drag on it before lighting has a light taste of Coffee , for the price its a good looking cigar.
Its main taste to me is coffee, leaves a very pleasant , taste in your mouth , its a very relaxing smoke , stick some music on and your in you're own world , of relaxation , if you do inhale it , which is even advices against inside the tin , its strong and horrid , but when smoking normal its an amazing experience , getting to the end , the taste becomes a little sweeter , has that classic cigar smell to it . with cigars you can take youre time and chill as the burn VERY little , these a bit faster than the expensive ones , after a while towards the end you get some burn in your mouth
Its a wonderful smoking experience, i haven't had many cigars so im not going to be to good at this review , but if you want a cigar i would give these a try , well priced for 5 , good sized ones , and it even tastes good as well as after finishing , i really enjoyed it -Towards the end its flavour dose change.
8/10 - As i said im not a cigar man , but i really did enjoy it , it was a very relaxing smoke , with a nice flavour , if you want to try a cigar , i would buy them , if not buy them and just have one to relax to . i haven't smoked many cigars , but being new to it i found these a good smoke and enjoyable
I will review Hamlet at a later date , they sell better in the UK than Cafe Creme if i remember correctly

Rothmans King size ( Blue ) UK
Overview.
Braking off from the original plans of cigs to be reviewed i have two more that i got while out the first of these is Rothmans king size, the same apply s to these as the new budget gold one , but all the advertising ect.. apply s to these as these are the orginal , they have a reputation of being harsh and , i felt this a little on the newer version after going through quite a few.
Price.
£7.40 from asda , a fair amount to pay , but usually with price comes the quality , older brand tend to cost more as they have been through a lot more taxing than the newer brands. Rothmans blue no longer to my knowlage come in 10s
Packaging
The same as they have always been , still give of a luxury image , but it has a much more classy style to it than the gold pack , nice deep blue colour very original , looks great with the white back drop , but like other older brands its starting to get old , and to look outdated , but still a great pack . -7/10
The cig
it has quit nice lettering on it more or less the same as the logo on the front of the pack , it has a crown above it , i have never had these before and have always ( while i have been smoking ) wanted to try one . Not quite as strong on the pack as the golds at 10mg of tar 0.9 mg of nicotine and 10mg carbon monoxide. It has a wonderful taste these are very creamy deliver a fair kick not as harsh as i though they would be , you can feel the nicotine delivering , there much better tasting than the other Rothmans , but for the price its what you expect as it will have better tobacco in.burn down is quite slow time, its of the better ones out there. Its a great cig one you can really relax with. It is one of the stronger cigs and dose provide a little throat burn. Its flavour gets stronger as you get down , i forgot to add it has a very light colored tan filter , and has a quite small filter
- It was a great cig and is worth the price you pay , good hit , great delivery , amazing taste one of the best i have had in a while. Worth the wait for them , they are actually very smooth from what i thought they would be , i believe the non EU limit ones aren't .
- Hard to find , Cost a lot ( But well worth it ) .
8.5 out of 10 - Only things wrong is the price , but thats not there fault , its the tax , well worth the price , and worth trying to find , there a real treat , also if you aren't used to strong cigs then these will not be for you , yes they used to be stronger , but they still produce that hit , and there probabley one of the better cigs available in the UK

YouTube channels to check out .
Originally as i said i wanted to do videos but i had major problems uploading , so i decided to do a blog , in place of the videos , the smoking community on YouTube is probabley one of the best there is , everyone i have come across has been friendly and willing to help out with whatever you need. They all inspired me to create reviews , but being unable to upload , i had to settle for next best , if you want to break into the reviews and can upload them , then i would recommend it , all great guys.
Channels
Here is a list of a few of the very best and the ones that i have watched the most and messaged ect..

I hope if you have time you check him out. Aswell as a massive thank you for doing a shoutout to me on one of his videos .

http://www.youtube.com/user/jimscigreviews92?feature=mhee other channel is jimyg34567 ( linked channel is better for contact if you need to )
Reviews still to come
As i don't smoke to much it takes me a while to get through a pack so there could be a few days between each review posted .
Coming soon.
Lambert & Butler profile - i like Lamberts a good smoke for the price , these are a new type of cig that is smaller and allows lower tax on the cigs.
Camel blue ( Lights ) Limited edition pack.
Camel black - picked these up while on holiday at a greek island there not available in the UK, don't know much about them.
And the others from the other post

Park Drive Unfiltered
Park Drive ( Unfiltered ) UK
Overview
Park Drive are one of the old iconic English cigarettes and although they did produce them . but stopped due to low sales are one of the last / very few brands that still produce unfiltered , they are just like they would have been in the 50s except they are now limited to what can be put in , they used to be a populour brand , but as more switched to filtered , brands like this are now harder to find. I have smoked several unfiltered brand but never wrote a review as i have just started i have had Woodbine and Senior Service.

Price
I bought these at a small shop near me that happened to have them , they have been lying around for a while , prices can vary from supermarkets to local shops .. Online from Asda they are priced at £7.66 , most shops are similar but some do charge more .
Packaging
The packaging is very traditional and has not been updated like most packs have , i like it, its a real blast from the past only ruined by the warning labels , it has it original feature of sliding up as well. it is dived into two parts 10 in one side 10 on the other this is quite unusual in the UK , although i have seen it in other country's - I really like the packaging its very traditional , just like the cigarettes themselves 9.5/10
- Really thought its quite plain and dated
The cig
Just says in the middle Gallahers Park Drive , there quite harsh if your not used to unfiltered, the tobacco is well packed and like most unfiltered cigs it uses a quality tobacco , they have a very different taste to filters , its quite a unique taste, they give a good hit and the taste is quite nice and tastes good in the mouth , leaves a good head rush good hit from them , if find you get a good hit when you don't have a filter they dont burn away to fast , but its not the best burn time .FSC has changed them a bit , not quite the same taste as they used to have. If you aren't used to unfiltered they will be strange at first and you may get some tobacco in you're mouth. Worth a try if you haven't had unfiltered and there one of the best out of the few available within the UK
Rating
8.5/10 - Very good tobacco as with unfiltered as there's nothing to hide the bad tobacco , everyone should try an unfiltered if you can find them as there what's smoking is all about back to basics - The price is a little bit to much to smoke them all the time , but there worth the treat . Burn time isn't the best and have a different taste to filter cigs , so if you're used to them it could be unusual at first

Cigs brought back and to be reviewed
Camel filters. Soft pack
Had a pack while i was there , these are the soft pack , and they have taken a bit of a hit in the suitcase on the way back
Regal King Size
my usual brand , ill do one on these to , brought a few of these back.
West .
Lucky strike.
One of the iconic brands of the world VERY popular in world war 2 never tried these as they are very expensive in the UK so i got them as of that reason as there cheap in zante , and never tried them these are also in the soft pack , i like soft packs but they do get beat up easier.
Camel black
couldn't take a picture as the battery died on my camera , never heard of these don't even know what flavor ect.. they are but will review them got them as it was a unusual pack and had not heard of them
Stuff brought back
Cigs brought back

Rothmans Gold King Size ( UK )
Rothmans Gold King Size ( UK )
I originally wanted to do videos , but have started a blog as i am having big trouble trying to upload them , anyway here is the first product i will rewiew , i have just been on holiday so have some others to do i smoked some there so theres not as many as i would have liked but still onto the review
Overview.
Rothmans have been around for many years they had big sponsorship in many motersports such as F1 and Bike Racing , they also sponserd a big Horse race in if i remember correctly South Africa called the ( rothmans ) July . They have always had a sort of luxury image , they were advertised with people smoking them on their own private boats ect... . At one point they were the strongest filterd cigs in the UK . Not to long ago with prices going up and up due to higher taxes in the uk , British American Tobacco ( BAT) decided to make a budget version of Rothmans to give a cheap smoke with a reassuring name is along the lines of what they said when announcing them.
Price
I have just been away to Zante and it was nice to not worry about price as all cigs there were around 3 or 4 euros , a friend got two packs of Lambert & Butler for nearly the price of 1 pack of 20 here in the uk. but here in the UK , price is a worry and these don't do that as for 20 there just £5.73 so there one of the lowest priced in the UK . No matter what there like for the price you cant knock them
Packaging
For a budget brand it has lovely packaging , it gives off a look of luxury, i wont go into details but it keeps the iconic look of the original blue ones , and it stands out it, it dose have a nice look to it ill give it a 9/10 as it dose seem to copy the original blues it would be nice if it was just different from them but still very well packaged . There also a similar shape to silk cuts packs
The cig.
plain looking just says Rothmans on it and a silver band 10mg tar 1.0mg nicotine 10mg carbon monoxide , due to E.U regulations its the strongest we can have , but there not that harsh , they taste good to. Good tobacco for a budget brand , good nicotine rush you can feel the head rush , normally budget produce a awful taste but these are probably the best budget cigs i have ever had they get a bit stronger as you get to the end like most cigs they leave a nice aftertaste aswell i can not complain at all there wonderful for the price for the price there a most try i cannot recommend them enough for the price they deliver on there promise on the back of the pack to " deliver quality taste without compromise" they are a fantastic editon to the Rothmans name BAT have produced a worthy edition to the product line without damaging the name of the original blue Rothmans
Rating.
9/10 a little light to start gets stronger towards the end of the cig. but for the price they are 10/10 so ill go for a 9.5/10
